The response to our call for donations was overwhelming and we met our initial goal 3 weeks prior to the race. Thereafter we revised the goal to $8,888 to include all 22 soldiers in need above-knee prosthetic legs at Ranaviru Sevena – a goal we met a few days before the race.
We would like to thank all our friends, family, and all donors who supported this cause and donated in whatever way possible and in the end made a big difference in the lives of 22 soldiers who had sacrificed everything to protect our motherland. |
